Synerga + S.A.. Founder and vice president of the European Foundation for the Promotion of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Expert with many years of experience gained in a number of consulting firms specializing in obtaining external financing for capital and development investment projects. Since 2002 he has been involved in the implementation of projects co-financed by EU funds. He gained his first professional experience related to public support while implementing projects within the EU pre-accession programmes: PHARE 2000, 2001, 2002 (mainly PRP, FDI and PRPE) and SAPARD.
He specializes in projects related to: research and development, innovations, ecological technologies and ICT. He reviewed, created and supervised , i.e. for: Warsaw University of Technology, Municipality of Siedlce, the National Centre for Research and Development, research laboratories and most innovative Polish companies.
Organizer and lecturer of more than 100 conferences and trainings related to the European Union, conducting businesses on the EU’s single market and obtaining financing from the EU structural funds and Private Equity.

Piotr Polanowski, CFA - Vice president of the management board
Piotr Polanowski, CFA has been engaged in corporate finance advisory and investment banking since 2000, including: Deloitte & Touche CE – tax & legal due diligence department, Trigon Capital AS, FinCo Group S.A., DELTA Capital Group Sp. z o.o., currently Vice President of the Board and Managing Partner Synerga+ S.A.
Responsible for managing corporate finance transactions in both the public and private market, equity and debt financing, equity and asset valuations, restructuring, financial analysis and due diligence within transaction processes. expert witness in financial analysis and valuation of companies in international arbitrage disputes and court proceedings.
Chartered Financial Analyst and currently Vice President of CFA Society Poland, earlier Chairman of the Audit Commitee of CFA Society Poland. Member of numerous supervisory boards, including financial institutions supervised by the polish SEC.
Specialises in the energy, financial and technological sectors, as well as heavy industry. His experience includes numerous projects in the scope of: public and private offerings, buy- side and sell-side M&A transactions, due diligence, financial modelling and valuations, restructuring processes and forensic analysis.
Graduated from the University of London, King’s College London, BSc Business Management and Warsaw School of Economics, MSc Finance and Banking and speaks English and French.

Daniel Pawelec - CHairman of the supervisory board

He has been connected with business consulting and EU funding since 2004. He coordinates the cooperation with a number of scientific institutions in the field of: industrial research, development projects, evaluation of innovation and new technologies. dr hab. Paweł Mielcarz – Strategic advisor
Associate Professor and the Head of the Department of Finance at the Koźmiński University in Warsaw. Areas of expertise: equity valuations, derivatives, financial controlling, capital budgeting and value management. Academic co-ordinator of Financial Controller & Financial Management Postgraduate Programmes and MBA for Financial Managers Programme. During his academic career he has been a Visiting Professor at: University of Warsaw, EDC, Ecole des Dirigeants et Créateurs d’entreprise, ESSCA – School of Management (Angres), Ecole de Management de Normandie, University of Debrecen, Kufstein University of Applied Sciences, University of Porto and Black See University. Involved in expert and advisory activities for such institutions as: Warsaw District Prosecutor’s Office, District Court in Warsaw, Koźminski University, Financial Supervision Commission.

Piotr Swieboda – Strategic advisor
Piotr Swieboda is responsible for managing equity and debt financing projects (in the form of corporate bonds) for the real estate sector and industry. Piotr has been active in the investment banking industry since 2000, initially he worked in the Deutsche Bank M&A department in Frankfurt, afterwards he joined Merrill Lynch Investment Banking in London and HBK Hedge Fund. In 2009 he returned to Poland and took the position in Aviva Open Pension Fund as an Equity Manager. In 2011 he established Inovo Venture Capital Fund.
He graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics, MSc Finance and Banking. He speaks fluently in English and German.

Iwona Kowalska, MBA – Strategic advisor
Iwona Kowalska has been present in the investment banking field since 1996, including: Heyka Consulting Sp. z o.o, Concordia Sp. z o.o., FinCo Group S.A. and DELTA Capital Group Sp. z o.o. She specializes in M&A transactions, private offerings and strategic advisory, including investment project analysis and the analysis of capital structure.
Iwona graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics, MSc Foreign Trade, and received an MBA degree from University of Minnesota. She speaks in English, French and Russian.

Roman Gurbiel, PhD – Strategic advisor
Roman Gurbiel, PhD is an experienced strategic, operational and technical expert and advisor in the Central and Eastern European region. He is a PhD in economics and a specialist in global plannning and optimisation of resources. Sucessfully completed numerous operational advisory projects in the area of production, rail logistics, energy and oil and gas.
Roman graduated from The Economic University of Kraków and AGH University of Science and Technology, PhD of economics at the Warsaw School of Economics. He speaks fluently in Polish, Czech, English and German.

Małgorzata Cieślak-Belgy, RICS – Strategic advisor
Małgorzata Cieślak Belgy, RICS is an expert with more than 20 years of experience in the real estate sector in the CEE region. She has conducted real estate and property valuation projects in Knight Frank, PwC and Tesco during 1996-2006 period. She has worked in Hypo Real Estate Bank International (currently Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG) a London-based bank which financed commercial real estate projects, subsequently founded REINO Partners.
Licensed Real Estate Appraiser in Poland. She is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, RICS. She graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology, PWSBiA and Sheffield Hallam University.
